| Dress Requirements |
Beginner I & II
The Beginner Dress is a jumper available for purchase
through the school. It is made by 'Blackthorn Tailors' out of
East Syracuse. Measurements will be taken at some point in
the beginning of each school year. The cost is $100. We
anticipate each student to be able to wear the jumper for 2-3
dance seasons if well maintained. In addition to the jumper
each dancer is required to wear poodle socks, ghillies (or
black ballet flats) and a white peter pan collar blouse
available from www.frenchtoast.com.
ADVANCED BEGINNERS
We are introducing a new dress for this level of dancers. The
dress style is appropriate for the age and skill level of these
students and will signify their progression toward more
advanced steps. 'Blackthorn Tailors' will be available to
measure dancers at some point in the beginning of the school
year, as well as by appointment. The cost is approximately
$350. Each dress will have a generous amount of material
available for future alterations. It is our goal to ensure each
dancer be able to wear the dress for 2-3 dance seasons.
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED:
We would like all Intermediate and Advanced students to
remain in the Paul Keith dress for the next couple of years.
We have a seamstress available to make alterations if needed.
